This monkfish is approximately 20 to 30 cm long. The picture was taken at one of Rogaland's (Norway) best dive sites. This site has a big kelp forest that contains alot of life: small fishes, nudibranches, micro life, and so on. It's perfect for me. I love to stick my nose in the sand, lifting up every stone. The beautiful juvenile monkfish is seldom seen standing on his "feet" as in this picture. I didn't notice it myself before the picture came back from developing.
