Assuming the bulb and batteries are good, the only possibilities why these light will not turn on are: A severe jolt may dent the batteries so they no longer make contact in a PC Lite. Adding a coin between the batteries on each side will increase their length which should make the light work. A severe jolt may require bending the PCa or PCm contacts up to provide more battery tension. Check that the contact wire going from the bulb holder to the contact on the rotating knob is down in the recess of the front and not lying on top of the clear plastic. The screw going into the switch shaft must be tight. The two screws that secure the Slide Lock should be as tight as possible while still allowing the Slide Lock to move freely. Heat from leaving the light on above water will destroy the lens and reflector. Batteries should be removed when traveling. Complete front listed does not include "O" ring, Bulb, or Bulb Holder. |
