5508.45 port front view dSLR macro port
AF/MF and ratio switches on the lens can not be operated

The Canon 100mm 1:2.8L EF USM Macro with Hybrid IS can be used in this port, but will operate in Auto Focus only. The focus sleeve of the #5508.45 port will not engage with this lens.
For manual focus this newer lens requires focus port #5508.46.
