Our newest housing for the Olympus C-5050 includes special conversion circuitry to utilize the outstanding Olympus TTL system without wasting camera battery power and generating the heat of operating the camera built-in strobe.

The housing provides all of the capabilities of this camera underwater. The LCD information window on top of the camera is easy to see as is the LCD monitor.

Every camera function is accessible. Special "stay depressed when desired" controls simplify the difficulty of pushing buttons, especially two at a time, while trying to turn a dial and watch the monitor all at the same time.

The port allows attaching macro and wide angle lenses from Epoque, the UWL-100 Inon, Olympus, and the #58070 Sea & Sea wide conversion lens.

The heavy duty thick wall housing is molded of corrosion free clear polycarbonate and operates safely to 200 feet. Camera and housing complete weighs less than 6 pounds.

Comfortable Release Handle and Tray included allows easy attaching and removal of SubStrobe mounting arms at the touch of a button. Optional tray with dual handles is available.

The housing includes a flash diffuser that allows underwater photos to be taken with the built-in strobe of the camera. An optional DS series Ikelite digital SubStrobe placed farther from the lens improves the photographs by reducing the illumination of particles suspended in the water.

Optional DS model digital SubStrobes provide Olympus TTL automatic exposure dictated by the camera when attached with our #4103.51 or #4103.52 sync cords; OR they provide ten manual power settings with the EV Controller, utilizing its wireless slave sensor or connected to the housing by a sync cord.
