# 9523.01 Tray with Release Handle $75 Tray with Release Handle allowing use of these deluxe Ball Socket arm systems and SubStrobe packages with housings from most other manufacturers. The #9523.01 Tray and Release Handle adds enough weight to offset the buoyancy of these housings, and includes a screw to attach to the tripod mounting hole on the housing bottom. The handle is large enough to be comfortable when wearing gloves, and its height enhances strobe placement. The EV Manual Controller is aimed at the camera to communicate with the DS model SubStrobe providing dependable strobe triggering. |
The arm system allows easy strobe placement from macro close-up to wide angle without changing the EV Manual Controller aim. The EV Controller operates as a sync cord by watching the camera to provide dependable strobe triggering by the camera strobe without requiring fibre optic "sync cord" nonsense. The complete strobe and arm system removes with a push of the handle button.
The EV Manual Controller provides ten power settings in half-stop increments with the DS-51 SubStrobe, the SubStrobe DS-125, or the Substrobe DS-160. Tray for dual strobes is also available. |

( Applicable only to Olympus Housings ) Housing can be opened and closed without removing from the tray. The space between the handle and housing allows comfortable gripping of the housing and usual shutter release operation. The strobe arms attach and remove with a touch of the Release Handle button, and allow almost unlimited placement of the strobe. |
