PC and PCa LITE DESIGN

Special bulbs provide the incredible intensity in these lights, but the design itself also features many innovations: The unique clamp system allows easy opening of the entire end of the light for replacement of bulb and batteries. Compare this to designs that require stuffing batteries into a little hole and moving them over with your finger. Even the safety lock button for the clamp is impressive. The "O" ring sealed area of the removable front is another design innovation that eliminates any mold seams on the sealing surfaces. The switch shaft features a maintenance free "X" ring seal. The switch contact is incorporated into a single spring that serves as a heat sink while making electrical contact with the bulb. The shrouded lens blocks distracting side reflections. The large switch allows comfortable operation with one hand. These lights set a new standard for design excellence in underwater lights. We added a switch lock to the PC and PCa in 1998 to prevent the lights from being turned on accidentally.
