This new accessory softens and diffuses the light, reducing output by one f/stop. #0561.2 diffuser snaps onto the front of current SubStrobe 50 models, and is included now with the SubStrobe A35 for the Auto 35 system. #9437.43 Diffuser with Shroud is available for older similar SubStrobe models with a separate front shroud that is attached by a small screw in front. This replacement shroud has the necessary undercut to mount the diffuser. Very old models without a replaceable shroud can not utilize the new diffuser.
