The new JVC MG-730 Camcorder features a built-in 30GB hard drive that easily stores 7+ hours of better-than-DVD quality recording or up to 10,000 digital still images.

The MG-730 is equipped with a whopping 7.38 megapixel CCD (1/2.5") that produces images comparable to most stand-alone digital still cameras. The camcorder utilizes JVC's Gigabrid Imaging Engine to process video and still images separately. This provides optimal processing for each to produce both high quality video and high resolution still images.

Video recordings are stored as video files, so deleting unwanted video is as easy as "throwing it in the trash". Create a video without a PC with in-camera editing features and direct DVD button (requires Share Station DVD Burner, not included). One-touch direct backup button automatically transfers any video or stills that are not already stored on your computer's hard drive.

The Everio Dock offers multiple connections, including DV Out (i.LINK), for convenient viewing, video transfer, and charging. The included software package has everything you need to edit video, manage photos, and burn DVDs (Windows version only). Capturing your dive vacation has never been easier!

Molded of clear polycarbonate to provide seamless construction and corrosion proof performance. This "Clearly Superior" design provides full view of the camcorder, control functions, and assurance the system is safe.

A complete housing and camera combination weighs less than 8 pounds. The housing with base and handle assembly measures only 10.5" wide; 8.5" high; and 8" deep. The camera's large viewing screen can be seen easily through the housing back.

The base removes instantly with a unique toggle clamp for traveling or attaching of the optional Pro Video-Lite 3 battery pack. The handle assembly detaches from the housing by removal of just two nuts for packing.

Included UR/Pro Color Filter provides color correction in tropical blue water. An optional filter #6441.81 is also available to achieve more natural tones in green water settings.

The housing port is threaded allowing the use of the optional #6420 Ikelite lens or 67mm threaded wide-angle conversion lens available from Inon and Epoque.

Internal Wide-Angle Lens Option:
Special ports are available for use with the Raynox HD-5050 Pro high definition wide-angle lens. Optional ports sold separately as dome port #9304 or flat lens port #9304.1. Raynox HD-5050 Pro lens not included. Lens not available for purchase through Ikelite.

Choose a camera battery long enough for any day's diving: The housing accommodates optional JVC VF-808U, VF-815U, and VF-823U batteries.
