Luke Walsh's passion for photography ignited at age 10 when he started capturing birds in his backyard. Over the years, this passion expanded to marine life, leading him to explore underwater photography.
Currently based in Melbourne, Australia, Luke documents the diverse ecosystems of Australia, Asia, and New Zealand. His work, characterized by a deep commitment to conservation, uses powerful imagery to advocate for the protection of natural habitats.
One of Luke's favorite subjects to photograph is sharks in Jupiter, Florida. Through his images and stories about encounters, he raises awareness for shark conservation, challenging the negative stereotypes often depicted in media and revealing the gentler nature of these misunderstood creatures.
