Attaching the Protective Cover to your Ikelite Strobe Battery Pack [VIDEO]

Featuring Logan Wood

This simple cover protects your spare battery pack when it's not attached to a strobe. Logan Wood shows you how to attach the cover to your spare battery pack to keep the battery pack clean and free of debris when not in use.

Attaching the Cover

One of the many great features of our top of the line strobes is the ability to swap out the battery pack for a fully charged strobe on your next dive. When you are traveling with extra battery packs it is important to install the battery pack cover.

Here's how to install the battery pack cover:

1. Line up the post with the charging port.
2. Drop it into place.
3. Turn and close the lever.

To take it off just reverse the process.

WARNING: This does not create a waterproof seal, but it leaves you with a battery pack and o-ring that is safe from dust, hair and debris.

Line up the charging port on the battery pack (highlighted in green on the left) with the post of the battery pack cover (highlighted in green on the right).
