Ikelite Ambassador Glenn Ostle has already been around the world with his new Nikon Z6 full frame mirrorless camera and is very happy with its performance. Here's a selection of his images taken in Grand Cayman, the Maldives, and Bimini, Bahamas.
The Z6 performs exceptionally well underwater, even at relatively high ISOs. Composition is comfortable using either the bright electronic viewfinder (EVF) or the rear LCD screen in live view mode. The Z6 also boasts impressive video performance. Find out more about Glenn's impressions of the use of the Z6 camera underwater here.
Glenn is currently using 4 different lenses (two Z lenses: 24-70mm/4S and new 14-30mm/4S), and two F mount lenses using the FTZ adapter (AF-S NIKKOR 16-35mm 1:4G ED, and AF-S Micro NIKKOR 60mm 1:2.8 G ED). All images were shot with dual DS160 strobes and the 200DL Underwater Housing for the Nikon Z6, Z7 # 71063.
