Sony's full frame mirrorless technology has been taking big steps forward over the past few years and the Sony a7R V is a powerful reflection of this. If you're looking for a camera that shoots equally well in still or video, the 60 megapixel a7R V may be right for you. The incredible 8-stop image stabilization system is Sony's best yet and when paired with their awesome autofocus tracking this becomes a dynamite underwater system.
The Bahamas - particularly the Exumas - are one of our favorite places to dive and shoot underwater. The water is warm, clear, and full of action. We spent a week in January diving with All Star Liveaboard's 102-foot luxury liveaboard the Aqua Cat departing out of Nassau. This footage was shot in 4K, S-LOG3 Picture Profile, at 24p and 60p frame rates. Check out our upcoming videos for more feedback on what we like about the camera and tips on using it in an underwater housing.
