Andrew Raak

Making a life on the water has always been an ambition of mine. After working as a dive professional for over a decade, and with over 23 years of diving experience, I feel like I’ve only scratched the surface of exploring the underwater world.

With a degree in Marine Science, a captain’s license, and a dive instructor certification, I have had many opportunities that have allowed me to travel the globe working and shooting in amazing locations.  I have worked for the rich and famous on super yachts, at dive resorts in the Carolinas and Indonesia, at a non-profit researching Humpback whales in Hawaii.  Along the way, I have been able to take full advantage of underwater photographic opportunities in every location I have worked. 

As an experienced underwater photography instructor, I want to inspire others to become better photographers, as well as show the world the importance of our marine environment.
