After Stu Garney's first breath underwater in the pool of a local Denver, Colorado diver center he was hooked. He continued learning the ropes of diving in the cold, murky waters of a local reservoir and has since been on an obsessive journey to explore the variety of underwater sceneries around the world.
Stu's photography background started with large format black and white landscape film photography and darkroom techniques but later evolved to include digital underwater photography.
Today he is a certified Dive Master and shoots underwater with the Sony a6400 with either the Tokina 10-17mm or Sony 50mm lenses inside his Ikelite Underwater Housing.
